What is the Sisu Buddy Program?

Starting a new job, a new mission, or joining a new client environment can sometimes feel overwhelming. New faces, new tools, new processes… and often, the feeling of being “on your own” during the first weeks. That is exactly where the Sisu Buddy Program comes in.

But… what exactly is a Buddy?

A Buddy is an experienced consultant, still active in the field, who has been part of Sisu for some time and who decides to take on an additional role: becoming a mentor, a reference point, and a sponsor for new consultants joining the group. More than just a colleague, the Buddy becomes a trusted contact person, someone you can turn to for practical questions, guidance, support, and even for a simple coffee break.

To strengthen this program and create a real community, Sisu recently brought together all Buddies from the different branches for a dedicated event. The objective? 

To reinforce their connections, strengthen their sense of belonging, and challenge their knowledge about Sisu Group, its values, its ecosystem and its different entities, all in a fun and engaging way. 

Jonathane, Buddy for our Catalay branch, explains why he chose to take on this role and what it represents for him:

“When you arrive at a client’s site, you can often feel alone. Having a reference person, someone you can contact for administrative questions, tools, documents, or simply to talk about a work-related issue, makes a real difference. We all have our own expertise, and being able to share it and support each other creates a strong sense of belonging.”

For Jonathane, being a Buddy is about much more than processes or timesheets. It is about human connection, knowledge sharing, and daily support. It is about being that reassuring presence who helps newcomers integrate more smoothly, understand the Sisu ecosystem, and feel part of a community from day one.

With the Sisu Buddy Program, we aim to create a culture where no consultant ever feels isolated, where experience is passed on, and where solidarity and collaboration are lived values, not just words.
